Simply the best power for you and the environment.

Simply cheaper power.

Solar power can shave huge amounts off your power bills. In fact, some states like South Australia and Queensland now offer great incentives through increased feed-in tariffs to make your investment even more viable. Why just continue to be a power consumer when you can be a generator and the CEO of your own Solar Power Station?

Simply nicer to the environment.

By installing even a 1kW solar power installation on your roof top you could slash your carbon emissions by approximately 20%* - which is equivalent to taking a small car off the road each year. Plus, the power savings also flow into water savings, because millions of litres of water are used every day just producing the country’s daily electricity needs. At Infinity Solar we want to shift our reliance on the depleting fossil fuel supply and help combat climate change through renewable energies. Will you join us?

Simple solar facts.

  • What the hell is a kW? A kilowatt is 1000 watts. What is a watt? A watt is a measurement of power. Power is calculated in a number of ways but, put simply, it is derived from the multiplication of voltage and current. So if you have a 1kW system it could power approximately 16 x 60W light bulbs or, if you have energy efficient lighting, it could power more than 65 x 15W mini fluorescent bulbs.
  • The highest sun hour locations are Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland – ironically the slowest states to take up the solar challenge.
  • A 1kW installation could offset your power bill by 20% for an average household, in line with the Kyoto commitment.
  • South Australia is leading the way with more than 40% of Australia's total solar power grid feed systems.
  • Did you know… Germany has more solar power panels installed than any other country – yet their best sun-catching location (in sun hours) is WORSE than our worst sun-catching location. Why are we so slow to make a change?

Our customers say...

Several months ago Infinity Solar installed a 1kW system in our home at Burpengary, Qld. We were very impressed not only by the professional approach taken by the company, but also by the performance of the installation. As a physicist I was keen to discuss the technical aspects of the system and found that the Infinity representative readily provided all the information I requested.

Although it is early days it is apparent that the solar system is going to save us a considerable amount on our electricity expenses. In the five week period since the digital meter was installed we have put a daily average of 2.14 kWh back into the grid. Over that period we have drawn from the grid an average of 12.8 kWh per day.

A Cent-a-Meter was installed with our installation and we were surprised by how much we were able to reduce our consumption by turning off appliances that were not essential or were drawing standby current. Turning off computers etc when not required has reduced our consumption by approximately 4 kWh per day.

Overall we are very pleased with the installation and have no hesitation in recommending Infinity Solar for the excellent service they provide.
